Last March 30, 2015, stakeholders of the Metro Cebu Development and Coordinating Board (MCDCB) renewed their commitment to work together in achieving the Mega Cebu Vision 2050 by signing a memorandum of agreement. In a formal ceremony at the Eduardo Aboitiz Development Studies Center, our leaders also took the podium and shared touching quotes that reminded us of what we have done, how we are doing and what are needed from us in this promising journey to make Cebu livable and sustainable.
These past few days, we at Mega Cebu have been posting requests to our followers to answer our short survey that mainly checks on their awareness level regarding the water situation in Cebu, particularly Metro Cebu, the focus of the Metro Cebu Development and Coordinating Board.
So far, we have collected answers from close to a hundred respondents as of March 31, 2015, after promoting the survey online for more than a week now.

Titled “Why Bus Rapid Transit System will succeed,” it points out several factors that show optimism on the upcoming transportation option that have been received with mixed emotions by many residents in Cebu, based on our engagement with our followers on Facebook and Twitter.
